Asim Azhar wraps up successful US tour

Singer Asim Azhar took to Instagram to mark the end of his successful US tour by posting a snippet from what appears to be a sold-out concert in Chicago. Paying an emotional tribute to the fans who made his tour viable and the colleagues who helped bring his dream to fruition, Asim poured his heart out in a long caption filled with gratitude.

“Thank you for making this the biggest tour of my career,” began the Soneya singer with a heart emoji. “I honestly did not expect it to be so big, the love & energy you guys came out with in every city was unbelievable & unreal, kasam se.”

Hoping to capture the high-octane atmosphere of his concerts in just a few words, Asim gave a special shout out to all the fans who had soaked up his performances and fed off his energy on stage.

“Each and every one of you who bought tickets, sang till you lost your voice, danced till you couldn’t feel your legs, I love you, and I thank you.” Knowing that the memory of his string of shows would be forever etched in his own mind, Asim added, “And I really hope you remember it forever, because I will.”

Paying homage to the growing international recognition of Pakistani artists, Asim continued, “13 cities. Sold out shows. New standard for Pakistani concerts abroad. Damn. Thank you once again. You’re making a kid from Karachi live his dream. See you very soon.”

Asim once again made full use of a heart emoji to thank his fans, and went on to tag the professionals who had worked behind the scenes to bring the tour to life. “PS, no dream without a team,” finished Asim, tagging in his coworkers. “Love you boys! Can’t wait to do this again.”
