Lisa Kudrow opens up about a secret note from Matthew Perry

Lisa Kudrow has recently opened up about a note that she received from Matthew Perry.

In a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the No Good Deed actress candidly talked about her friendship with her late co-star.

“Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode,” she began saying.

Kudrow and Perry starred alongside Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc in the comedy sitcom Friends.

Recalling when Perry had given her cookie jar with a note inside it from the set, continued, “I had recently found the note that he had in it for me.”

“I hadn’t opened it up or looked inside of it. But yeah, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it.”

Moreover, the 61-year-old actress has not shared the message from the note but concluded by saying at the time, “Timing is everything.”

Previously, Kudrow also talked about the same cookie jar on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, and recalled, “We were shooting a scene years before we finished.”

“My line was, ‘Ohhh, I’m late. I better get going,’ and it was too late when I realized I don’t have a watch.”

“As the words were coming out I went, ‘Oh good there’s a clock,’ and I gestured to that and said, ‘Oh look at the time. I better get going.’”

The Boss Baby actress concluded by sharing Perry’s joke when the shooting ended, and said, “Did you point to the cookie jar and say, ‘Look at the time’?” and at that time both were “laughing hysterically and crying.”

For those unversed, Perry died from acute effects of ketamine at age 54 in October 2023.
