Nicole Kidman has admitted she “felt protected and loved” while working with Sandra Bullock in Practical Magic 2.
Speaking to Interview magazine alongside Ariana Grande, another iconic onscreen witch, the 58-year-old Australian-American actress and film producer confessed she felt supported due to the ensemble cast on the set of Practical Magic 2 in the summer in London.
Notably, Kidman completed filming just a few weeks before she filed for divorce from Keith Urban after 19 years of their marriage on September 30.
The Big Little Lies star and Bullock reprised her role as sisters, who are also witches.
Kidman, who plays Gillian Owens along with Bullock in the film, conversed with Grande for the feature that was published on Monday, November 24.
She said she had so much “fun” with the top-tier cast of Practical Magic 2, including Stockard Channing and newcomers Joey King and Maisie Williams, especially the 61-year-old American actress and film producer.
Kidman stated, “We had an incredible cast. A lot of times I don’t have fun when I’m filming because it’s more—.” Grande added, “Emotionally draining.”
“Yeah. But I have such a strong relationship with all those women, so I felt protected and loved. It was just very, very safe,” the Babygirl actress mentioned.
It is pertinent to mention that Practical Magic 2 will be released on September 18, 2026.
