Justin Trudeau, the former Prime Minister of Canada, was spotted in the crowd at Katy Perry’s sold-out Lifetimes Tour at Montreal’s Bell Centre on Wednesday, July 30.
Trudeau, 53, was seen wearing a casual black t-shirt and smiling while watching the singer’s performance in a photo shared on social media.
The spotting comes shortly after Trudeau and Perry, 40, were seen on a walk with a small dog in a park in Montreal on Monday, July 28.
The pair were later seen grabbing dinner at neighborhood restaurant Le Violon, where they met Chef Danny Smiles and made their way to the kitchen after the meal to thank the staff personally.
According to a rep for the restaurant, the pair “seemed to have had a fantastic evening” and were “super kind and friendly to the staff.”
Perry’s dinner with Trudeau comes one month after People magazine confirmed that she and Orlando Bloom, 48, ended their engagement.
Despite the recent breakup, Perry has been focusing on her music and her Lifetimes Tour, which kicked off in support of her 2024 album 143. The set list features her greatest hits and deep cuts from her career, from Firework to Thinking of You.
As the tour continues, Perry’s daily album streams have continued to rise on Spotify, receiving 45.3 million streams.
To meet demand for surging ticket sales, the Teenage Dream singer announced additional shows in Asia end of the year. Perry heads back to the U.S. on Aug. 3 in Detroit to continue the U.S. leg of the tour.
