Adele takes break from studies for sporty appearance at Formula 1 event

Adele was photographed in the pit lane with the Mercedes AMG Formula One team

Adele’s presence is always a delightful surprise for her millions of fans, as she rarely makes public appearances.

In the picture shared by Daily Mail, the Love In The Dark singer, 37, looked in her element on Sunday as she was photographed in the pit lane with the Mercedes AMG Formula One team while touring their garage in Austin, Texas.

The Hello hitmaker previously caused a stir when she was spotted in the crowd during Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism tour in Los Angeles.

However, after taking an extended break away from the spotlight, Adele opted for a sporty outing, posing for a beaming photo alongside Mercedes drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli.

Meanwhile, Adele was last seen at a public event in April, attending an NBA game in Los Angeles with her fiancé Rich Paul.

For context, the singer is currently on an extended break from work after wrapping up her successful two-year Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, in November last year.

Earlier this month, sources close to Adele told the Daily Mail that the songstress has been ‘purposefully’ been keeping a ‘strict’ low profile for some time ‘more than ever before.’

They also revealed another reason behind her absence from the spotlight: Adele is currently studying for a degree in English Literature, fulfilling a pre-fame ambition to become a teacher.
